Dr. Tamara Jones

Dr. Tamara L. Jones understands that when it comes to having a beautiful smile, one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why she’s so proud to offer personalized treatments to each of her patients. She is passionate about getting to know everyone who walks into her office and providing them with world-class orthodontic care that will make them look and feel their best.

Dr. Jones earned her undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University as a Hunt Scholar and achieved the highest dental admission test score in the country, eventually attending Baylor College of Dentistry-Texas A&M Health Science Center where she recieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She then attended The University of Texas at Houston for 27 months of advanced training to achieve her Masters and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Since graduation, Dr. Jones has earned countless accolades from professional organizations and is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association, just to name a few. She is also a Diamond+ Status Certified Invisalign Provider and has been honored as a D Magazine Best Dentist Winner in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022!

When she’s not helping to create bold, beautiful smiles, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her husband Jason and their two children Kenton and Madeline, as well as their adorable Sheepadoodle, Skye. She also loves baking, swimming, preparing for her next triathlon, and catching up with family and friends.

Dr. Stephanie Amerson

Born in small town in East Texas, Dr. Stephanie Amerson is pleased to be living and working in the Plano community, helping to align the smiles of patients of all ages. As a former braces-wearer herself, she truly understands the importance of orthodontic treatment to one’s oral health and to their self-confidence and self-esteem, which inspired her to go into the field herself!

A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Amerson earned her bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology at Stephen F. Austin State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the dental school at The University of Texas at Houston. She completed her orthodontic residency at The University of Tennessee in Memphis and to this day remains passionate about continuing education. She is also a proud, active member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Academy of Orthodontists.

When she’s not helping patients reveal a more healthy, beautiful smile, Dr. Amerson enjoys spending her free time with her husband and dog, especially hiking. In fact, they eventually hope to visit all 63 of America’s national parks! She also loves reading, board games, and visiting local coffee shops.
